With the Andrew Cuomo sexual harassment scandal still having political reverberations, former Cuomo aide Karen Hinton joined Errol to shed light on what it is like to work for powerful men who create toxic work environments. Hinton, who is one of the 11 women who initially accused Cuomo of sexual harassment, has written about her experience in her new book “Penis Politics.” She shared stories about Cuomo’s all-consuming personality, including how he acted inappropriately with her more than two decades ago at the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Her memoir is also a coming-of-age story, from her childhood in Mississippi – where she first encountered a man who abused his authority at the expense of a young girl – to her time as a journalist and her days working for Mayor Bill de Blasio.
